After consultation, I was asked on the concept using leaves as representation on people. Then I decided to go for seeds instead.

Assignment 1- Mindmap and Research

Here is a simple mindmap for the title Malaysia.

We only had 2 weeks to finish up the design so I do not really research that much since I had decided to go on the topic, "People". I want to show the people of Malaysia but not in a direct way.


Research
On the research part, I research on Malaysia and also the people. Mostly are from the 3 main ones which are Malay, Chinese and Indian. All having different personality, races, culture, customs, spoken language, and many more. Despite their differences, they manage to live together as a country.

Media Arts Design 3- Assignment 1

Starting of  new semester which is Gamma 1. We still have to do design assignments like last semester but will have interactivity later on.

Our first assignment is to design a poster entitled, "Malaysia and I".
It is an Expression Design (10%).
Format is in A2 size, printed and pasted on foamboard.

Artist Statement: Quotes-An expression which meant something in life. I want people to know about these quotes and make it an example to life. It could give you the strength to move on and take up any challenges which will come by your way.

Quotes means to repeat or copy the words of another, usually with acknowledgement of the source.
For example,
"Words may show a man's wit but actions his meaning." -Benjamin Franklin
"I wanted to be that quirky girl who writes funny songs that still have meaning." -Katy Perry

There are many types of quotes in the world by famous peoples and also non-famous peoples. It is reflection of ones life, dreams and hope. Everyone can make a quote but whether it is meaningful or not, it all depends on you. It is a way in expressing yourself.
In this final project, I will use my own quotes that are related to my own life which is meaningful to me.
